Three preliminary designs will be selected and artists given $50 as a stipend to create a complete proposal. One final design will be selected for installation, with the artist receiving $200 upon completion of the artwork over the summer of 2011. <br /><br />Submissions are due on April 1st. Submit all finished designs via inter-campus mail Kathleen Doan or email to kdoan@smccme.edu or <br /><strong>Submissions are due midnight on April 1st</strong>. <br /><br />Details:<br />- Only current SMCC students are eligible to submit a design for the contest. <br />- The selected artist will receive the total funds after the successful completion of the final project. <br />- The board is particularly interested in submissions that include words like "success", "advice", "future", and so forth, though all submissions will receive equal consideration.<br />- All media are welcome, including but not limited to paint, wood, metals, or a combination of media.<br />- Second round designs must include a budget; material costs will be paid for by SMCC.<br />- The review board reserves the right to adjust or change the final designs. <br />- No late submissions will be accepted.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/601482085956773664-114547662638071301?l=smccarts.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>JEFF BADGERnoreply@blogger.com1
